Ed Pendleton Dies From Peritonitis
Mr. Edward Pendleton, aged about 25 years, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Audrey Hamrick near Thompson's shop Thursday morning about 10:30 o'clock.
Mr. Pendleton had been sick for some time. Recently he underwent an operation at the Rutherford Hospital for gallstones.
Mr. Pendleton was a good citizen, a willing worker and possessed many friends in the town and county.
He had lived at Buffalo and in Shelby. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.

The funeral of Mr. Edgar Pendleton, who died Thursday morning was held at Elizabeth church Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. W, A. Elam conducting the services and interment was made in the church cemetery.
