George Smith Hatch Koosharem, Utah Gone Fishing George Smith Hatch, 95, passed away Dec. 7, 2006 in Salina, Utah. He was born November 9, 1911 to Sisson Jacob and Emma Rosetta DeLange Hatch in Koosharem, Utah. He married Bessie Larsen Sept. 6, 1933 in the Manti Temple. She preceded him in death on July 3, 1984. He is survived by six of his nine children; Joan (Ardie) Penrod, Kearns; Karen Rasmussen, Redmond; Edyth (DeVon) Jensen, White City; David (Anja) Hatch, West Valley; Kevin (Laurie) Hatch, Salina; and Dawn (Royce) Gibson, Kearns; 34 grandchildren and 90 great-grand children and two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Vedell Hatch, Orem; sisters, Thelma Tanner, Payson; Vilda Erekson, Payson; Ella Vee Turner, West Jordan; sister-in-law, Margaret Ipson Hatch, Pleasant Grove; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the Koosharem LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the ward chapel Saturday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Koosharem City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary Richfield, Salina and Manti.
