Funeral Held at Teasdale for John W. Forsyth
Funeral services John Winfred Forsyth, 64, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. M. L. Taft at Bicknell May 5 of general debility, were held May 8 in the Teasdale ward chapel.
Speakers were M. L. Taft, R. A. Meeks, Walter Coleman, Chas Snow, Ezra W. Bullard and Geo. W. Okerlund. The opening and closing prayers were offered by Geo. T. Eckersley and William F. Webster. Musical numbers were furnished by the Bicknell and Teasdale ward choirs. Interment was in the Teasdale cemetery. Wm. Potter dedicated the grave.
Mr. Forsyth was born at Pine Valley March 25, 1869, a son of Thomas Robert Forsyth and Fredonia Melissa Goheen Forsyth. He married Diantha Noyes of Teasdale, who preceded him in death seven years. He was the father of ten children, of whom the following survive: Mrs. Irvin Rowley of Spring Glen, Mrs. LaMar Mecham of Ely, Nevada, Mrs. M. L. Taft of Bicknell, Frank, Claude, Rex and Glenn Forsyth of Teasdale and Chell, who is in military service in China. Brothers and sisters surviving are: Thomas Robert Forsyth of Ririe, Idaho, William Forsyth of Roosevelt, Niel Forsyth of Teasdale, Mrs. Chris Heilesen of Rigby, Idaho, Mrs. Eric Torgersen of Lyman and Mrs. Elmo Adams of Uintah county.
