"Manchester - Howard Ronald Hans, age 77, passed away June 9, 2018 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. He was born and raised in Lakewood, NJ prior to moving to Manchester, NJ 12 years ago.

He was a self-employed excavator, and contractor, Howard was also a volunteer State Forest Fire Fighter with District 54; he enjoyed horses, farming, and hunting.

Howard is pre-deceased in death by his wife Della. Surviving him are his children, Ronnie Hans and his wife Dawn, Ken Hans, and Connie Hans and her husband Stevie McCarter; 5 grandchildren, Alana and her husband Alex, Kara and her fiancé Geno, Ronnie, Kenny Jr, and his fiancé Megan, and Zakary; also surviving Howard are his 2 sisters, Betty Truex and Joanne Holichork, 2 sisters in laws, Paulette Burns and Robbin Rubano, and his brother in law Butch Tilton.

A viewing will be held on Thursday June 14, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road Brick, NJ 08723. A funeral home gathering will be held on Friday from 9:30am to 10:30am, with a funeral home service beginning at 10:30am."
