"Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Ball, 88, of Elizabethtown, died Friday, June 22, 2018 at Tender Touch Assisted Living. She was a native of Hardin County, a member of St. James Catholic Church, and a medical assistant for Dr. William Handley for over 20 years. Her family was her life. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix David Ball; and parents, Harley and Elizabeth Akers. She is survived by her son, Mike (Julie Ann) Ball of Campbellsville; 5 daughters, Patty Sears of Antioch, TN, Peggy "Sam" Gilpin of Elizabethtown, Jeanie (Don) Upton of Hendersonville, TN, Susie (David) Peterson, and Kathy "Larry" Richardson all of Elizabethtown; 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and will continue after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home.
A Prayer Vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday."
