Miss Anna Elizabeth Abell, following three weeks serious illness, passed away at 5:30 o'clock last evening at her home, 1501 Robinson avenue.
She was born in Illinois on July 9, 1882, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Martin Abell. Surviving are the following sisters and brothers. Mrs. Maud Isabel Leake of Perry, Mrs. Mary Gertrude Gardner of Burlington, IA; Oliver Francis Abell of Santa Fe, Della Agnes and William Joseph Abell of Hannibal; several nieces and nephews.
The remains were removed to the James O'Donnell funeral home and will lie in state there until 10 o'clock tomorrow morning when they will be taken to St. Paul's Catholic church near Perry for services. Burial will be in St. Paul's cemetery. The exact newspaper that this came from has been lost to time.
