LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at a 2:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Anna Domingue, 82 , who died on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at her residence in Lafayette, surrounded by her family.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Alleman Champagne and her husband, Pat of Broussard, Dianna Domingue Ward and her husband, Paul of Sunset and Joyce Domingue Broussard and her husband Marshall of Lafayette; father of Dianna and Joyce, A.J. Domingue of Lafayette; one brother, Lee Gerard of Lafayette; eight grandchildren, Dana Colgin, Daniel Champagne, Dax Champagne, Kody Dodge, Adam Dodge, Shawn Broussard, Chris Albert, and Colby Albert; fifteen great grandchildren, Taylor Colgin, Stefan Colgin, Cy Colgin, Blake Champagne, Kate Champagne, Collin Champagne, Chaney Dodge, Kanin Dodge, Annah Dodge, Alexis Bertrand, Drea Darby, Dawson Albert, Demi Darby, Kaydence Albert, and Kyler Albert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clementine Gerard Smith and Nathaniel "Slim" Smith; one daughter, Brenda Alleman Albert; and one sister, Mildred Gerard Hamilton.
Mrs. Domingue loved to cook and was one of the best cooks in Lafayette, and according to family and friends, "you better tell her you liked it". She loved playing bingo, shopping and going to the beauty shop. Mrs. Domingue will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pallbearers will be Kody Dodge, Adam Dodge, Daniel Champagne, Dax Champagne, Chris Albert, and Colby Albert.
