CABAGE, AMANDA LEIGHANN - age 18 of Powell, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 31, 2006, and went to Heaven to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Her rare beauty, smile, and sense of humor would light up any room she entered. She was a childhood member of the Powell Starz softball team whose members have become a second family to all of us. Amanda loved cheerleading, and was a cheerleader for Powell High School for four years until graduating in May 2006. She was involved in choreographing cheer routines for many Knoxville area cheer squads after graduation. Amanda also loved children, and was the full-time nursery worker at her lifelong church, Third Creek Baptist Church. She was attending Pellissippi State Technical Community College where she was just beginning her dream of becoming a Pediatric Physical Therapist. Amanda always felt it would be a very rewarding life to help a child learn to walk again. She had a "feisty" personality. We always said, "You never had to worry what Amanda was thinking, because she would tell you!" It was this trait that we admired about her, because she always stood up for others as well as herself. Amanda was a beautiful person, both inside and outside, and will be greatly missed by so many people whose lives she touched. Preceded in death by: grandparents, Eugene "Papaw" Keith, Lloyd and Earline Cabage; and first cousin, Travis Cabage. Very loved and sadly missed by: mother and step-father, Stephanie and Parrish Smith; father and step-mother, David and Lisa Cabage; sisters, Christina Valenzuela and Madison Cabage; brothers, Brandon and Connor Smith; boyfriend and "love of her life," Cameron Sharp; grandparents, Wilma "Mamaw" Keith, Donna " Mamaw Smith", Edward and Lillian Smith, Jr., William and Shirley Dison; great-grandparents, Edward and Betty Smith, Sr.; aunts and uncles, Bill and Kay Cabage, Leann Atkins, Jim and Valerie Atchley, Shane and Marcia Smith, Randy and Shannon Ross; first cousins, Patrick Atchley, Ginger Cabage, Robby Berry, Jeremy Smith, Joshua Smith, Alyssa Ross; and many great-aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends spread throughout the United States.
