Charter Member of Plantation QuiltersLou Donaldson, 62, of Jones County, died Saturday, April 21, 2007. Services were held Monday, April 23, with burial at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. The Revs. Franklin Etheridge and Lyn Woodard officiated.

Mrs. Donaldson was born March 16, 1945, in Cook County. She was the daughter of the late Tommy J. and Bessie Baker Weldon. Mrs. Donaldson was a member of Wheeler Heights Baptist Church, a member of the Red Hat Society, and a homemaker.
Mrs. Donaldson is survived by her husband, Vance Donaldson of Jones County; sister, Glenda Bryan of Tifton; children and their spouses, Marvin Donaldson of El Paso, Texas, Rhonda Highsmith of Gray, Julie and Todd Alligood of Macon, Daniel Martin of Macon, Stacy and Claude Aultman of Macon and LouWana and Darrin Wedmann of Tampa, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.
