Rose Lillian Fisher, age 94, of Adrian passed away peacefully at her home on June 19, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on December 23, 1923 in Adrian, Michigan to John and Elizabeth (Baughey) Holloway. On April 24, 1943, Rose married the love of her life, Dorman Fisher in Adrian. He preceded her in death in 1989. Rose worked as an inspector for Bohn Aluminum in Adrian for over 20 years, retiring at the age of 70. With her firm faith in God, Rose devoted her life to raising her family, always putting them first above all. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, tending to her home and yard, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
Surviving are her four children, Jim (Carol) Fisher, Mary Jo (Kevin) Olden, Rosie Fisher McCarty and Cindy Fisher, all of Adrian; eight grandchildren, Gregory Jr., Kristy, Michael, Amanda, Krynn, Matthew, Nicholas and Nicole; eight great-grandchildren, Franky, Tracen, Dalton, Alaya, Braelynn, Kylie, Kyler and Titan and one brother, George Holloway. In addition to her husband, Dorman, she is preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Sherrie Fisher and Lisa Fisher; four sisters, Alice, Mildred, Clarabelle and Ruth; and one brother, Kenny Holloway.
Visitation for Rose will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian with Pastor John Maguire officiating. Rose will be laid to rest in Madison Center Cemetery beside her beloved husband, Dorman and their two daughters.
