Funeral of an Infant.
The funeral services over the remains of the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Alvis were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Methodist church in Downs. Rev. C. S Boyd pastor of the church was in charge of the services and interment took place in Hopewell cemetery. The pall bearers were six little girls, all dressed in white, as follows: Elsie Alvis, Ethel Montgomery, Birdie Sutor, Iris Turner, and Fay and Florence Baker.
