Kevin Lee Burrows, Benzonia, 61, died May 20, 2018.

In 2013, Kevin married the love of his life, Donna Crossman. They dated, fell in love, and have been together ever since. Kevin loved camping, camp fires, walking the woods for mushrooms, beach sunsets, looking for stones along the shore line, going to the RVH annual canoe trip, attending the Mushroom Festival or the Manistee County Fair, Music in the Park, Fireworks and the Platte Lake family reunion with Donna and his family. Road trip along M22 would allow for stops to Point Betsie and the Empire Beach for possible Northern Lights viewing.
While Kevin was very straight forward and never one to sugar coat anything, he indeed had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. Kevin loved the Lord and he found his faith to be a contributing factor in his nine years of sobriety. Kevin was a proud employee for Benzie Central High School. He was thoughtful, appreciative and grateful young man who will be deeply missed, but lovingly remembered for years to come.
Just when I thought I was too old to fall in love again, I became a grandfather, and my eight grand-angels stole not only my heart, but also spent most of my money.
Kevin leaves behind his loving wife Donna; children Jeremy (Amanda), Kevin Jr., Matt Burrows, Chad (Christy), Drew (Monica), Sarah "Sam" (Danny) McCallum; grandchildren Tyler, Jayden, Madison, Violet, Bella, Ariana and Isaiah was Papa's little buddy. He also leaves behind his dogs who were spoiled like kids Martini and Trixi.
Memorial service will be 11:00AM Saturday June 23 at Fresh Winds Christian Community Church with Pastor Chuck Towersey officiating. Burial in Benzonia Twp Cemetery.
