Aza was born on July 20, 1926 in Brockett, AR to the late Amos Harm and Frona Harper Lemons. He served his country in the Navy, worked at General Motors for 44 years, and was of the Baptist Faith. He married the love of his life, Mary Lou Lee on June 1, 1952.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Frona Lemons; brothers, Paul, Wilburn, and Ersell Lemons; sisters, Reva Kerley and Delma Woods.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Lee Lemons of the home; son, Amos Aven (Cynthia) Lemons of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Michelle (Chad) Lasley of Camby, IN, Joshua (Jennifer) Lemons of Lake Jackson, TX, Nicole (Josh) McBee of Peoria, IL; great grandchildren, Connor Kite, Emory and Winry Lemons.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 10-11 am at McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service immediately following at 11 am with Nelson Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Harper Cemetery.
