Enola "Jean" Lynch
Jean Lynch, 89, of Nampa, passed away on Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, at the Trinity Mission at Holly Nursing Home. She was born on Sept. 17, 1917, in Nampa to Fuller Lee and Natalia (Theresa) Stone. She then lived in McCall with her brothers, Don and Bill Jr., and then moved back to Nampa where she graduated from Nampa High School in 1937.
She married George Lynch on June 12, 1937, and spent their honeymoon in the Idaho desert, near Wendell, herding turkeys. Jean and George then founded, with George's brother Bill, Lynch Brothers Hatchery on the north side of Nampa in 1938. For about 40 years they worked hard to establish their business and raised three children, Robert (Bob), Richard (Dick) and Ronald (Ron). They retired in 1975 and moved to Meridian where they spent many years traveling and spending time with close friends until George passed away in 1992.

In 1997 Jean moved to Nampa to the Christian Church Senior Towers where she lived for many years. She spent her last years at Trinity Mission at Holly Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George and son, Bob.

She is survived by her son, Dick Lynch, New Meadows; son, Ron (Grace Ann) Lynch, Olympia, WA; daughter-in-law , Brenda Lynch, Nampa; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren .

We want to thank the staff of Trinity Mission at Holly Nursing Home for the kindness they have shown for our mother these past few years.

Jean and George throughout their married lives were members of the First Christian Church of Nampa, 619 12th Ave. S., and services will be held there at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7. Burial will follow at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa.
