Woman's Funeral Slated Tuesday
Mrs. Sarah Lavina Adams, 77, Odessa resident 21 years, died about 2 a.m. today at Deering's nursing home where she had resided the past three years.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Tolar Baptist Church with burial in the Stroud's Creek Cemetery near there under direction of Martin Funeral Home of Granbury. Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home handled local arrangments.
Born Dec. 13, 1892, in Hood County, she married William C. Adams at Weatherford on Sept. 1, 1906. After the death of her husband, she moved to Odessa from Tolar in 1947. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, O. L. Adams of Houston, two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Calvert, 47 Guernsey, and Mrs. Juanita Highfill, 212 East 15th; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren
