KOSCIUSKO -- Alonzo Moore Mitchell, 96, retired teacher, died Tuesday of cardiac arrest at Attala County Nursing Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Kosciusko First United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Parkway Cemetery here. Jordan Funeral Home has charge. She was a former member of United Methodist Women. Mrs. Mitchell leaves a son, William A. Mitchell of Kosciusko, two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren. The family requests any memorials be sent to First United Methodist Church or Wood Junior College.
