Adley Mary Janise, 93, of Lake Charles, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Landmark. She was born to her late parents, Andre and Ovelia Boullion on April 9, 1925 in Rayne, LA. She was belonged to the Altar Society, and was a member of the Funeral Choir at St. Theodore’s. She was a very good seamstress, and made quilts and baby dresses for the drive at the church.

She is survived by her son, Terry Janise and wife Lynda of Maine; two sisters, Helen Duhon and husband Manuel of Lake Charles, Dionese Carpenter of Sulphur; one brother, A.J. Boullion and wife Elsie of Carlyss; six grandchildren, Angela Sanders Laferry, Amanda Sanders Orcutt, Wade Sanders, Michelle Dottolo, Theresa Cooper, Heather Latour; son-in-law, Jerry Sanders and wife Cordellia;10 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Evan Janise; her daughter, Dorothy Sanders; siblings, Wilfred Boullion, Winnie Mire, and Winnie Ola Crador.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am at St. Theodore’s Catholic Church on Monday, May 21, 2018 with Reverend Monsignor Charles Dubois. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 6:00-9:00pm with a Rosary at 6:30pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home from 9:00am until the procession to the church. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Lake Charles.
