Rev. John Cunningham Clyde was born in White Deer Valley, Lycoming Co. PA on Oct. 22, 1841; entered Lafayette College in Easton, PA in 1960; after a 2 year absence he resume his course in 1963; was a private in the 72 Illinois Regiment, and Provost Marshal at Columbus, KY; Latin Salutatorian; graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, PA in 1866; graduated from Princeton Seminary in NJ in 1869; ordained at Centreville, Iowa in 1869; pastor at Shenandoah 1870-1872; and at Frazer starting in 1872; author of a couple of books.
