Marilyn was the daughter of Herman and Gladys (Wehrbein) Tegtmeier. She graduated in 1951 from Pawnee City High School in Pawnee City, NE. Marilyn married Hiram H. Jauken February 6, 1953 in Pawnee City. She was a daycare provider for over thirty years.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years; two children, Michael Jauken and Tammy Houk; granddaughter, Amber (Jason); three great-grandchildren; and sister, Ardell.
Marilyn was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Neil Jauken and Brooklynn Houk; two sisters-in-law; and three brothers-in-law.
