Alma L. Botz, age 92, was called home by her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 18, 2008.
Born in Cleveland, she resided in Garfield Heights most of her life and Cuyahoga Falls the last five years. She was an active member of Redeemer Faithful Church and former faithful servant at Zion Lutheran Church in Maple Heights.
Alma was a loving mother, 'spunky' sister, known as 'grandma' to many, a great-grandmother of one, a swell aunt, and fun gal to many friends. She taught ceramics, loved to sew, bake, bowl and laugh. She treasured being a member of her Senior Group in Garfield Heights. Alma always had a sparkle in her eye, the Lord in her heart, and a kind word on her tongue.
Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry A. Botz in 1987; and daughter, Karen Remendowski; siblings, Mary, Frank and Lillian.
She leaves a son; granddaughter; great-granddaughter; a son-in-law; brother, Stanley (Mary Joan) Klukan; and sister, Evevlyn Potter.
Services on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Redeemer Lutheran Church. Entombment in Crown Hill, Twinsburg. Billows Fall Chapel in care of arrangements.
