Leonard J. (L.J.) Tschacher 40, died September 1, 2005 at his home in North Platte, Nebraska.
He was born September 21, 1964 in Sterling, Colorado. His parents were Leonard and Josephine (Gasseling) Tschacher.
Leonard graduated from Hemingford High School in 1982. He was a former employee of Burlington Northern Railroad and was honorably discharged from the Nebraska Army National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and ranching.
He is survived by his son Logan Tschacher of McCook, NE, brothers William Tschacher of Sterling, CO, Robert (June) Tschacher of Alliance, sisters Elizabeth (Joe) Moeller of Alliance, Linda Hatterman of Hemingford, Diane Hernandez of Sterling, CO, and Crystal (Scott) Green of Hemingford, brother-in-law Delmar Harden of Sterling, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Charles Tschacher, brother Howard, sister Patricia Harden and brothers-in-law Richard Hatterman and Richard Hernandez.
Memorial services will be Friday, September 9 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Hemingford with Father James Heithoff officiating. Burial will be in the Hemingford Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent in care of the family at P.O. Box 61, Hemingford, NE 69348.
