Albert Barber Obituary
Albert G. Barber, 64, passed away Friday, March 15, 2002. He was born November 26, 1937 in Oklahoma City, to Wilfred and Emma Barber. He was united in marriage to Kathlyn Barber. Al touched everyone that he met, and left them as a true friend. Albert was involved in many organizations, was a Master Mason, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Temple of Guthrie, active member Past Master Broadway Circle Lodge 546, active Mason DAV, 4/8 American Voiture 169, Retired instructor for Air Conditioning and Heating at Moore-Norman Vo-Tech. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church of Norman. Albert is survived by his wife, Kathlyn Barber of the home; two sons, Les Gordon of Tuttle, Michael G. Barber and wife Ellie of Norman; seven grandchildren, Kathrine Spillman, Rhiannon Kay Barber, Nicole Marie Barber, Albert Gene Barber, Lester James Barber, Crystal Gene Barber and Billy Joe Barber; and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two children, Albert Gene Barber II and Jena Kay Barber. Services will be Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home.
