Ms. Hyatt lived in several different states during her lifetime but always considered Maryville her home. She was born in Elkmont and graduated from Pi Beta Phi High School in Gatlinburg. She loved to travel, and after retiring, she traveled with her son, Troy, to many countries. She found this to be one of the greatest highlights of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Beecher and Susie Wilson, seven brothers, and one great-grandchild.
Ms. Hyatt is survived by her six children: Nancy Love, Memphis; Cindy Potter, Goldsboro, NC; Toni Watkins (Eddie) North Augusta, SC; David Hyatt (Lilian), Maryville; Richard Hyatt (Tracy) Greenback; and Troy Hyatt (Mark) Paris, France; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Monday June 18, 2018 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Mr. Danny Wilson officiating.
