Barry Bockenkamp, 59, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at home in Concrete, WA.

He was born on April 30, 1959 in Anacortes, Washington; graduated from Anacortes High School; joined the Army in 1986 and honorably discharged in 1991 as Veteran of Desert Storm.

Barry was preceded in death by his parents: Herman (Bocky) and Susan Bockenkamp; and brothers: Clifford, David, Garry, Richard and Brian.

He is survived by his children: Amanda and Daniel; siblings: Annette (John) Hornsby, of Oak Harbor, William (Patricia), of Edmonds, Susan Donnell, of Beeville, TX, Helen (Gary) Stephens, of Arnold, CA, Lawrence (Donna), of Gig Harbor, Jean (Steven) Spaulding, of Everett, Steven (Cathy), of Traverse City, MI, and Gregory Bockenkamp, of Mount Vernon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service with Military Honors will take place on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. Grand View Cemetery, Anacortes, WA and presided by Deacon Cary Parnell.

Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel of Anacortes, WA.
