QUINCY - Elaine P. (Jenckes) Sullivan, age 66, of Quincy, formerly of North Smithfield, R.I., died on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at the Seasons Hospice" Palliative Care Center in Milton.

Born in North Smithfield, R.I., she was the daughter of the late Warren and Yvonne (Piche) Jenckes.

Elaine was a self-employed professional seamstress for many years.

She loved animals, took care of stray cats, rescued feral cat colonies and loved life.

Elaine was the beloved wife for 29 years to Martin T. Sullivan; and dear sister to the late Jeffrey Jenckes. She is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Memorial visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street (Route 14), Pembroke, Wednesday, March 2, 2016, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral and interment services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701, www.cancer.org.
