Helen Frances Barnes Harris, a retired food processing technician for Morton's IT&T Co, died Thursday of congestive heart failure at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. She was 68.
Mrs Harris was born in Nashville, TN., and lived in Avondale the past 20 years. Survivors include three sons, Danny Thomas Davis of Picayune, Ms/ Olan L harris of Plainview AR and Earl h Harris of Laplace; two daughters U Mary Chavers of Amelia VA and Ann Lucille Harris; a brother Randolph Barnes of Thibodaux and sister, Sarah Himel of Marrero; nine grandchildren; and four g grandchildren.
A private funeral was held Friday. Burial was private. Westside funeral Home handled arrangements.
