95, of Camby, passed away on October 30, 2021, peacefully at home. Catherine was born on August 17, 1926 in Indianapolis Indiana to the late Paul Wm Henry and Amelia (Flock) Bernitt .
Catherine was a machine operator for Eli Lilly for 36 years. Catherine was a very faithful lady who attended Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Mooresville.
She was very athletic at a young age and was an amazing swimmer, ice skater and ran track. In her later years she enjoyed staying active and was in many bowling leagues in her later years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donovan C. Lawrence; son, Robert "Bobby" Lawrence, brothers Wilbur, Paul Bernitt, sister Bertha Lawrence, and a granddaughter Rachel Evans-Lawrence.
She is survived by her Son, David (Leisa) Lawrence of Paragon Indiana, Sister Barbara Hacker of Avon, granddaughters Amy Stanton, Amber Spurlock-Vorhees, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
Services will be private. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery. Final arrangements are entrusted to Carlisle Branson Funeral Service and Crematory.
