Allen F. Trostle

Allen F. Trostle, 86, of 690 Knoxlyn Road, Gettysburg, died Friday, Oct. 17, at Green Acres.

Born in Adams County, he was the son of the late Harry M. and Emma Mickley Trostle. His wife, Cora Myers Trostle, died in 1969.

He was a member of the Cashtown/ McKnightstown Charge, United Church of Christ. He was a farmer in the Highland Township area most of his life and also had been employed at the Howard Johnson Motor Lodge.

He is survived by one daughter, Linda Ashman of Gettysburg; one son, Rondale Trostle of Gettysburg; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. from the Monahan Funeral Home, Gettysburg, with the Rev. Charles E. Falk officiating. Interment will be in Upper Marsh Creek Cemetery.
