This is Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Stout b. 17 July (the monument company must have mistranslated his sisters handwriting (of 1867) in Lawrence Kansas. Obit says he was born in 1868 that corresponds with the family records. His parents married in 1865); he was my Great-Great Uncle. His sister, Lula (Stout) Russell lived at Weeping water, Cass County, Nebraska (1900, 1910, 1920, 1930). The obit says he moved to Weeping Water, Nebraska in 1928. "Frank" was living with his sister, both he and Lula-listed on the 1930 Weeping Water, Cass County, Nebraska Census. Lula died on the 24th of April in 1947 in New Orleans, Louisiana and interred in the Garden of Memories, Melairie, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Their parents were Thomas Jefferson Stout (b. 31 Mar 1841 Adamsville, (now Rome) Adams, Ohio; and Nancy E. (Pilant) Stout (b. 28 Aug 1841 Rogersville, Hawkins County, Tennessee--my Great-Great Grandparents. Frank had 10 siblings: Lula, Thomas Bert(my Gr Grandfather), Wilbur, Roena Rose (found her burial place in ElDorado, Butler Co., Kansas), Lewis "Lee" Edward, Ada Mary, Robert B. (have not found his burial place), Mary W. Garrett, Emma Winkler/Baker and Jefferson Stout. "Frank" Stout married Mintie [Almentie Jane] Warren 25 Dec 1898 Taney County, Missouri. They divorced betw 1906-1908. She remarried to Charles A. Wilshire. Frank and Mintie had a daughter, Nancy Edna Stout that married Denver Hulett. They also had a son, Tommy Stout that died in infancy. Frank had two other boys before Edna, but not known if the mother was Mintie, that were given to an orphanage. Their names are lost. We have a photo of them with their sister, Nancy Edna (Stout) Hulett. NOTE: The second photo of the children from Nancy Carolyn Hulett Bright, by way of her son, Larry Bright. --Marilyn France
