Robert Martin "R.M." Trainham, 71, died Monday, Feb. 23, 1998. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Metzger, pastor, and Jim Taliaferro, family friend, officiating. Burial will be in Stratford Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Trainham was born in Seymour and had been a Stratford resident all of his life. He was a farmer. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and a Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Trainham married Lila Grace Kyle in 1982 at Las Vegas. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Billye Zak and Roxie Newcomb, both of Stratford, and Evelyn Malaney of Cimarron, N.M.; two sons, Terry Kyle of Dumas and Butch Ellison of Stratford; his mother, Lottie Trainham of Springer, N.M.; a brother, Destry Trainham of Raton, N.M.; a sister, Billie Frank Litteral of Springer; and 10 grandchildren.
