Mrs. Mary Rensing died at her home in Omaha, Saturday, November 29, 1924, aged 85 years and 14 days. The body was brought to Turkey Creek Catholic Church, southwest of Geneva, Monday morning and the funeral was held at that church at 8:30, being conducted by Father Lutz.

Mrs. Rensing was born in Germany November 15, 1839. She resided in Fillmore County from 1888 until last may, when she moved to Omaha with her daughters. She was the mother of six children, two of whom survive. They are Mrs. John Neil and Miss Frances Rensing. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Charles Grote, died twelve years ago. Mr. Rensing died forty-five years ago.

Six grandsons, Frank, John, Louis, Clifford and George Grote and Walter Neil acted as pallbearers. Interment was in the Turkey Creek Cemetery.
