According to Tampa, FL newspaper articles dated 1935-1937, it appears that he was a boxer in matches held at the boxing arena of Benjamin Field in Tampa, FL and the American Legion Coliseum in Sarasota, FL.

He was a painter. Wife: Mary Catherine Holt, married in 1936, Tampa, FL. In 1937, they were living in Sulphur Springs, FL along with his mother. Son Charles Trenton Davidson was born Dec. 27, 1936. Lloyd and Mary divorced in 1943.

According to cemetery records, Lloyd Murray Davidson, son of Mary E. Kelley, was 28 at time of death and was interred on Oct. 18, 1947. Wilson-Sammon Funeral Home.
