Adrian Ralph Denham, 96, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.
Adrian was born June 2, 1922 in Finch, Arkansas to the late Willis Ralph and Effie Lena Denham. He lived his whole life in Greene County. He was married to the love of his life, Almarie Payne Denham, for 72 years. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Adrian was an Army veteran stationed in the Philippines during WWII. He was Preacher and an Elder of the Pine Knott Church of Christ for over 50 years and has presided over hundreds of weddings and funeral services.
Adrian was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Almarie Payne Denham, one brother, Raymond Perry Denham, and two sisters, Anna Bernice Powers and Ruby Pillow.
He is survived by one daughter, Darla Eaker of Paragould; one granddaughter, Robin Dione (Rex) Ellington; two great-grandchildren, Chandler Crawford Ellington and Alexandra Dione Ellington; and three sisters, Maragaret Brougham of Jonesboro, Maxine Bryson of Paragould, and Nina Edrington of Louisville, Kentucky.
Funeral Services for Adrian will be Friday, June 8, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Paragould with Joshua Dement officiating. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 8, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Mitchell Funeral Home.
Chandler Ellington, Rex Ellington, Gene Eaker, Jerry Pillow, Keith Bryson, and Ray Denham will serve as pallbearers.
