Ronald Hadenfeldt, the son of Leonard and Vera Hadenfeldt was born March 21, 1936 in Audubon, IA. He grew up in the Sioux Rapids, IA area where he attended school, graduating from Cornell High School in 1954.

Ronald married Katherine Pannell in August 1956 at the First Baptist Church in Spencer.

He worked as a tree trimmer, and for Nesbitt Bottling Co., before farming near Everly, IA.

Ronald enjoyed working with heavy equipment, farming, tinkering and bringing to life his inventions in his shop. He enjoyed playing many different musical instruments including banjo, guitar, accordion, harmonica and really excelled at classical piano. In his younger days he enjoyed 4-H, where he won Reserve Champion with his Angus steer in Denver, CO.

Ronald passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Select Specialties Hospital in Gulfport, MS at the age of 82.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Katherine; and several brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish his memory are his 4 children, Larry Hadenfeldt, Lonnie (Becky) Hadenfeldt of Spencer, IA, Loren (Kristin) Hadenfeldt of Menomonie, WI, and Rhonda Jones of Saucier, MS; 5 grandchildren; one brother, Jon Hadenfeldt of Sioux Rapids, IA; other relatives; and many friends.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
