Barbara Jean graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School. She loved her role as homemaker, as her family was everything to her. She will be remembered as having a big heart, witty personality, and always willing to help others. She enjoyed doing craft work, crocheting, and collecting porcelain dolls and angel statues. She loved to garden, listen to all types of music and was a junk food addict.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by seven children: Leroy C. Lombardo, Ephrata, PA, John D., husband of Morayma Robertson, Deltona, FL, Dena Lee Robertson, White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, Laura Michelle Robertson, Ocala, FL, Raymond C. husband of Eli Robertson, Ocala, FL, Daniel Paul Robertson, Willinston, FL, Kristel D. Robertson, Lancaster, PA, 27 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews and her closest friends, Lisa and Kevin Augustus, two sisters, Clara Steffy and Carol Danz; three brothers, Daniel Jenkins, Wayne Flory, and Butch Jenkins, all of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by two children, Dominic Lombardo and Shawntel Renee Robertson, a sister, Shirley Mattis and a brother, Lee Jenkins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Barbara Jean's Funeral Service at The Groff's Family Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 528 W. Orange Street (corner of W. Orange & Pine Sts.) Lancaster, PA 17603 on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Brown officiating. The family will receive friends at The Groff's on Thursday from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. and on Friday from 12 Noon until time of service. Interment will be held at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
