She was born July 26, 1900, at Wataga, where she attended school. She was graduated from Illinois State Normal University in 1919, and later taught in Oneida schools. She was a bookkeeper for Galesburg Engraving Co. for 30 years.
Mrs. A'Hearn was a member of Henderson United Methodist Church. She held two degrees in the Women of the Moose, and was a life member of the College of Regents and Academy of Friendship.
She married Daniel Russell A'Hearn Sr. on June 5, 1926, at Davenport. He survives with a son, Daniel Russell A'Hearn Jr., Galesburg; a stepson, Lawrence A'Hearn, Lawrence, Kan.; a brother, Stanley Morgan, Bettendorf, Iowa; a twin sister, Mrs. Zola Reed, Wataga; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel, where friends may call Thursday 7-9 p.m. Burial will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
The family said memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 40 Park Plaza.
