Christopher Edwin Age, age 51, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018. Christopher was born on May 15, 1967 at South Miami Hospital in Miami, Florida.
He was the beloved son of Claudia Tatum Age-Mays and Steven Age; devoted father to Christopher Ryan Age; loving brother to Stefannie Age Vines and James Steven Age; true friend to Brother-in-Law, Jason Vines, and proud uncle of Beau Meyers, Madison Vines, and Mason Vines.
He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Monroe Age; grandparents Willard and Frances Age and Earnest and Juel Tatum.
Chistopher graduated from Etowah High School in Woodstock, Georgia. He also graduated from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. He was a member of the University's football team and of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Chris was a hard worker, however his first priortiy was always his son, Christopher "Ryan”. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time with family, but his greatest love and proudest moments were watching Ryan on the football field.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 25th from 6-8pm at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home located at 2950 North Cobb Parkway NW, Kennesaw, GA 30152.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 26th at 2:00 pm at the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Acworth, GA with open casket viewing beginning at 1pm. Christopher's long time friend, Michael Ryan will officiate. Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park
