Garland Francis Barnes, 90, of Rocky Mount, passed away Wednesday May 30, 2018. He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Cleo and his son, Robin. He is survived by his son Gary and wife Kristine;Daughter, Debbie Matthews and husband Sam; Daughter in law, Bobbie Barnes; Grandchildren, West Barnes and wife Karen, Myndi Margan and husband Brian, Morgan and Rachel Matthews, and Brittany Barnes; Great Grandchildren; Josie, Daniel, Owen and Henry. Graveside service will be at Pineview Cemetery in Rocky Mount at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday June 2, 2018. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery and at their home in Rocky Mount.
