Cecelia Mace was born in Illinois December 7, 1882. She went with her parents to Iowa to live and in February 19, 1855, in Keokuk, Iowa, she was united in marriage to Daniel Reardon. They moved to missouri in 1863, locating in Camden County. They came to Lebanon in 1894 and she has lived her ever since. Mr. Reardon died in 1905. Mrs. Reardon is survived by a daughter Mrs. G.W. Hurt, of near Lebanon, and a son John Reardon, of Parkville. A daughter, Mrs. Malinda Mace died a few years ago.
Three brothers, William Mace of Iberia; A.J. Mace of Brumley, and T.M. Mace of Linn Creek and an aunt, Mrs. Priscilla Miller, of Lakeview, Oregon also survive her. That Mrs. Reardon came from a famly of long lived people is noted in the fact that Mrs. Miller is more than ninety years of age. The son had been here for a visit with his mother and had returned to his home in Parkville Sunday, leaving her mother apparently in her usual health, but the end of a long life came the following Wednesday.
