LaVerne R. LeRoux, age 92, of Toledo, OH, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018, while at the Elizabeth Scott Community, Maumee, OH.
LaVerne graduated from Libbey High School. She worked for the Ace Hardware RSC; was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church and she loved to dance.
LaVerne was preceded in death by her parents, Julius C. and Marie (Peth) Melka; sister, Jean Melka; her husbands, William V. LeRoux and Daniel R. Pilrose Sr. She is survived by her cousins, Jeanette Fowler, Randy and Carol Fahrer, Dan and Becky Fahrer, Sharon and Earl Pappenfuss; in-laws, Sharon and Dave Leroux and niece, Kathy LeRoux.
A visitation will be held at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, OH, on Tuesday, June 5th, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, 3360 Nebraska Avenue, Toledo, with burial to follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
