George Herman Kuttenkuler, 82, of Tipton, Mo., died Thursday, January 2, 2003 at Tipton Manor in Tipton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 4 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Tipton with Fr. David Veit officiating. Burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Meisenheimer-Griswold Funeral Home in Tipton. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday followed by a Knights of Columbus service. Pallbearers will be Lance Kuttenkuler, Seth Kuttenkuler, Tyler Higgins, and Brice Kuttenkuler.
Mr. Kuttenkuler was born February 1, 1920, in Tipton,the son of Herman and Lorene Claas Kuttenkuler. He married Helen Miller July 5, 1945. He lived in the Tipton area all his life. He owned and operated a farm and was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church. He was a member of the American Legion for 53 years, and a member of the Farmers' and Sportsmen's Club. Mr. Kuttenkuler was WWII veteran. He was also a life-time member of the Tipton Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, of the home; three sons, Ken Kuttenkuler of Muskogee, Okla., Kevin Kuttenkuller of Tipton, and Keith Kuttenkuler of Lee Summit, Mo.; two daughters, Linda Wiese of Osage Beach, Mo., and Michele Higgins of Tipton; one brother, Charles Kuttenkuler of Tipton; 12 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one step great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Kuttenkuler; and one sister, Edith Knipp.
The family suggests memorials to St. Andrew's Church.
