After reading the inscriptions (very hard to read) he may be Thomas C. (and the Alexander is only implied). He shares the same side of the ALEXANDER marker with Sarah, who was the second wife of J.C. Alexander (probably Joseph C. Alexander). This Sarah and this Thomas are on the left side of the obelisk shaped monument. Joseph C. Alexander had two wives, both named Sarah. I think this Sarah on the left side of the front of the monument was the second wife. Thomas was her son, but the age looks to be closer to 80 someodd years. I discovered that I misread the Three for an Eight; a common mistake when numbers are worn. The stone looks like it says:
THOMAS C
Died May 31 1883
AGED
80 yrs 4 mo 18 ds (If we change 80 to 30, we get the CORRECT date). He was born January 13, 1853; so he was AGED
30 yrs, 4 mo 18ds when he died.
