She was born June 17, 1921 in Agency, Iowa, the daughter of the late Robert and Daisy (Faucett) Burris.
Maxine was united in marriage to Elmer Kreger and John Lindner.
Survivors include two sons, John Lindner, Bensenville, IL and George Lindner; four brothers, George Burris, Tucson, AZ, Raymond (Dorothy) Burris, Antigo, Ronald Burris, Addison, IL and Lee Burris, Arizona; two sisters, Delores (Edward) Kamunda, Chicago and Betty (Harold) Henning, Polar, WI; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held October 2, 1978 at the United Methodist Church, Aniwa. The Rev. Joseph Thario officiated. Interment was in Union Cemetery, Aniwa.
