* Jane Mary Gisevius passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 after a short illness, at the age of 75. She was the daughter of her late parents, Valda Hernandez Gisevius and Frederick J. Gisevius, Jr.
She graduated from Ursuline Academy, Loyola University, Loyola University-School of Law, and received her Master’s Degree in Law from the University of California, Berkley. She was a practicing attorney in New Orleans for many years.
She is survived by her two sisters. She was the beloved Aunt to her nieces and nephews. She was the much loved and involved great-aunt to her great nieces and nephews.
Jane was an active member and participant in many ministries at St. Catherine of Sienna Church. She was also a Board Member of the New Orleans Medical Mission.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and following the funeral mass, a graveside service will take place at All Saints Mausoleum.
