Born at Grosshocstetten, Switzerland, at the age of seven he came with his parents to MO and settled near Amazonia, where he was engaged in farming and they raised on a farm near Rosendale, MO for about 13 years before moving to Clayton, NM in 1931. In 1951 they moved to just east of Adams. His wife, whom he married in Kansas City, MO, preceded him in death as did an infant daughter, Gertrude. He died Sunday night in Memorial Hospital at Guymon.

He is survived by two daughters Mrs George Tedford of Liberal and Mrs Ashley Fry of Matawan, NJ and son Paul Blaser of Trupin.

Funeral services were conducted from the Union Center Methodist Church east of Adams on Wednesday with Rev C.W. White of Tyrone officiating.
