CHESTERTOWN - Alice May (Pierce) Gossard, of Chestertown, formerly of Ruxton, died on May 5, 2014. She was 95.
She was born May 12, 1918, in Berrien Springs, Mich., to the late Andrew M. and Anna M. (Kackert) Pierce. She married the late Donald Ivan Gossard (1918-2009) in 1949. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Andrew (Bud) Pierce, and her sisters, Jean Pierce, Ruth Costello and Marian McCully.. She served her country during World War II as a member of the Women's Army Corps.
