Margaret O. Stelter, 84, passed away December 9, l995. Her mind and her body are now free after a 15-year battle with Alzheimer's.
Born December 21, 1910, in Duchesne, Utah, to George C. And Mary Ellen Young Odekirk. Married Eric E. Stelter in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1983.
Survivors include daughter, Marilyn (James) Hawthorne; son, Eric C. (Carolyn) Stelter, Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchidren, Christine Hawthorne, Gregg Hawthorne (Kerri), San Rafael, Calif.; Kevin Hawthorne (Lisa), Kelly Stelter, Moab and Fritz Stelter, Montrose, Calif.; great-grandchildren, Mrs. Rob (Aimee) Jewkes, Ryan Isakson, Matt Isakson, Maggie Hawthorne, Katie Hawthorne and Amanda Stelter; great-great-grandchildren, Jake Jewkes, twins Alex and Chad Jewkes; sisters, Mrs. Ray (Glenda) Pledger and Mrs. Mike (Virginia) Roach; brother, Mel Odekirk (Agnes), Ogden.
Preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister; and one grandson, Eric D. Stelter, whom she loved very much.
Funeral services Wednesday, December 13, 1 p.m., Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends and family may call one hour prior to the services.
