Nikki Jo Abbott, 53, died May 26, 2018 at her residence.

She was born June 12, 1964 in Lima, the daughter of Robert L. and Judith A. "Judy" Plikerd Abbott. Her father is deceased and her mother survives in Spencerville.

Also surviving are her special friend, David Eugene Crager of Spencerville; three aunts; Dorothea Plikerd of Spencerville; Eleanor (Lou) Taylor of Amanda, Ohio and Lynda Malone of Amelia, Ohio and special cousins; Rachel (Bryan) Sipe of Mendon, Laura (Josh) Lyle of Venedocia and several other family members.

Nikki was a 1982 graduate of Spencerville High School and a graduate of the University of Phoenix in Social Work and had worked as an aide at the Roselawn Manor and also at the Vancrest of Delphos.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Spencerville Chapter 130, Order of Eastern Star and the Harry J. Reynolds American Legion Post 191 Auxiliary, all of Spencerville.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with Pastors Josh Andrews and Jim Fletcher officiating. burial will be at a later date in the Spencerville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends form 10 until 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Spencerville EMS or to the Roselawn Manor Activity Fund.
