Mrs Sherrill came to the Pandhandle of OK in 1903 with her mother, four brothers and one sister where they took goverment land claims on the Beaver-Texas County, OK line southwest of Turpin. She married at Childress, TX and they made their hime at the farm until Mr Sherrill's death in 1945. Following his death, Mrs Sherrill moved to Liberal. She had made her home with Mrs A.L. Hnady for the past five years and just recently had been at the Good Samaritan Center. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by three sons, Douglas, Harvey and Demi all of Liberal, three daughters, Mrs Leslie (Thelma)Mitchell of Hooker, OK, Mrs Floyd (Priscilla) Bethel of Phoenix, AZ and Mrs Gerald (Bernia Dean) Hill of Huntsville, AL.

Funeral services were conducted at the Western Ave Church of Christ and with burial in the Nabisco Cemetery near Baker, OK.
