Mr. Parrish passed away 6 February 1977 at a Quincy Illinois hospital. He was predeceased by four siblings: an infant brother, a brother Clatius Parrish, and sisters, Nell Parrish and Artie Parrish.
Reverend Theodore C. Coleman led services held at a Quincy Illinois funeral home, with interment in Greenmount cemetery in Quincy.
