Born 16 November 1895 in Knox City Missouri. Son of William T. Parrish and his wife the former Pauline Ann Parish.

Married Blanche Goodwin 31 October 1914 in Knox City Missouri. In 1974 they had a family celebration at their residence to celebrate their Golden Annivesary.

William Parrish worked as a bus driver and custodian for Lima elementary school in Lima Illinois. He worshiped at Lima Christian church as a member.

Following his retirement he moved with his wife to Quincy Illinois. On 20 October 1977 he moved to Quinsippi Nursing Home.

Mr. Parrish passed away 6 February 1977 at a Quincy Illinois hospital. He was predeceased by four siblings: an infant brother, a brother Clatius Parrish, and sisters, Nell Parrish and Artie Parrish.

Reverend Theodore C. Coleman led services held at a Quincy Illinois funeral home, with interment in Greenmount cemetery in Quincy.
